Our New Nocona Tequila Bottle

First of all, I want to apologize for the tardiness of this post. Not to make excuses, but we have been dealing with a number of outside issues. Some of the timing is out of our control. With that said, we received the following from Pavisa a few days ago:

While the design itself is not complete, here are a couple of shots to show what the base bottle will look like (without the graphics and embossing):

Along the sides of the bottle, we'll add Nocona embossing. Additionally, on the front and neck of the bottle, there will be more decorative embossing. This will be a custom bottle through-and-through.

We anticipate receiving the embossing updates to the bottle from Pavisa next Monday, February 16, 2015. Once we receive the updated view of the bottle, we'll post it here.

Have a great weekend!

Design Discussion with Pavisa

As many of you know, we recently received approval from the USPTO for our tequila brand name NOCONA Tequila. Now that we have the name, we can begin bottling our product. First, however, we need to have a bottle!

Last year, while visiting tequila distilleries in Jalisco, Mexico, we were introduced to Pavisa to create a custom bottle for our products. Pavisa is a Mexican glass manufacturing company with more than 60 years experience and leadership in the manufacturing and marketing of glass and crystal products for the liquor industry.

After sending Pavisa an admittedly crude rendering of a proposed design, the principals of the sales and design team took time out of their busy day to chat with us about creating three (3) custom designs around our ideas. They were extremely professional and committed to determining what we envisioned from the design. With this in mind, we told them our desire to have a refined and elegant bottle, with some rustic elements, which will showcase our Nocona character logo to consumers viewing it on retail and bar shelves. Specifically, we wanted to grab the customers attention! And, while we gave them one design idea, we encouraged them to use their best efforts to create original designs based on the inspiration behind the Nocona logo design.

The great news is we should have these designs by January 23, 2015.

When we receive the designs, we'll make sure to post their designs here!
